So I decided to go with the name Collidoscope for my organization. I took the Collider part of LHC (large hadron collider) and changed the spelling of kaleidoscope. Part of my thinking was that the two have similarities. both are tubes and the kaleidoscope has loose colored beads, pebbles, or other small colored objects. Now those loose beads, pebbles and other objects act like the loose particles in the LHC that are trying to be combined to make one "God" particle.
Now as far as a logo goes. I am still playing. My thinking is to make the logo simple but still representing the kaleidoscope and lhc. What I did was take aspects of an LHC magnet and outline it while reflecting it like a kaleidoscope does. I felt if I were to go to crazy with a logo, I dont think it would fit right. while I can explore more with an aesthetic of patterns and color throughout my other projects.
oh and the two images with color was just fooling around with some brushes I found. And wanted to see what type would like on them.
