AGAIN

So after talking with gen, my topic has changed again. since i am getting married next year my thesis will be about the process and what the future is going to be like.

i thought of a title for the book, "Get Used to It. The Journey to Marriage"

The get used to it part comes my fiance, she always says that, but in a joking way. but its somewhat serious haha.

Reconsideration

So i have narrowed down my topic and decided not to go twith the us and them approach. So i want to look and american junk food/snacks. the most popular and not so popular kind. and then talk about design and packaging, if it attracts people more, if it turns people away, etc..

so far

in these first three i am seeing how color works, if i should just used text or incorporate images as well. i was thinking of having an icon relating to each food on the page, as seen in the drunken shrimp. as weird as some of the foods may be i was thinking maybe to add humor to something that maybe gross to someone else. not sure bout that though. will be posting more.

Starting to Play

starting to fool around. seeing if i like texture, or just color, or a combo. more to come.

Researching

So I have been doing research on my thesis. I am not sure how I am going to make my book yet, meaning which direction I want to go. But right now I am trying to narrow down the countries that I want to select. I am looking over most of the cultural foods and trying to get the most interesting and bizarre foods. From what I am seeing is quite amazing to me. I found this one book that was great :

The book talks about the authors journey around the world while trying a wide range of food. while showing pictures of a lot of the food.

So now its researching why that's the chosen food of the region. I also have a book about the history of food.

I am still in the researching phase and trying to narrow things down.
